1st day

"3rd Satguru Jagjit Singh Sangeet Sammellan" commenced yesterday with fervour in the divine presence of Sri Satguru Uday Singh Ji. Satguru Ji lightened up the lamps and initiated the musical extravaganza. Gian Singh Ji enthralls the whole audience with his vibrant performance on 'Jori Pakhawaj', after that Ustad Harjinderpal Singh Ji enchanted the audience with his master strokes on Santoor and gave a well synchronized performance with his counterpart Shri Rajesh Malviya Ji on Tabla. In the end Ustad Rashid Khan ji mesmerized the whole audience with his marvelous notes while the performance of his musical counterpart Pt. Subhankar Banerjee was like icing on a cake, Ustad Rashid Khan summed up the musical evening with his spellbind thumri 'Yaad piya ki aye'.

2nd day

"3rd Satguru Jagjit Singh Sangeet Samellan" concluded yesterday. Avtar kaur begins the musical evening with raag yaman and became a role model for youngsters who often concealed their talent and remain unnoticed, next to her Ustad Surjit Singh Ji played Raag Maru Bihag on Sarangi along with Shri Kirpal Singh Panesar on Dilruba and mesmerized whole audience with their soulful musical notes. In the end Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan took up the heartbeats of all the listeners, his heartfelt notes created such an ambience that every become spell bounded on this Sri Satguru Ji said "the way he played today is like never seen before". His musical counterpart Ustad Sukhwinder Singh Pinky showed his energetic skills on tabla and raised up the heat. Yesterday's evening has left an indelible mark in the memories of every individual.
